Я тоже не читала:)
А что это за человек, у которого вы это взяли? У него там я смотрю стихи по-русски и т.д. Он наш, изначально, или просто учит русский язык? И список - это он сам составил или взял откуда-то?
И еще - жирным вы выделили то, что читали, насколько я понимаю (мы тут по ряду пунктов расходимся, то есть - не читала я, увы-увы - Гомера вот не читала, к стыду - все собираюсь, и еще найдется - это я из вашего "жирного") - а вот подчеркивание - это что такое?

Это студентка из Техаса, мы случайно в ЖЖ познакомились на почве интереса к языкам и культурам друг друга. Да, учит русский, с нуля совсем, русских корней нет, и учит недолго, год, что ли. Список она взяла у юзера panderia, своего френда и совсем уж американки, и на этом ленточка обрывается: Пандерия источник не указала...
В исходной инструкции было указано, что курсивом или жирным надо выделить прочитанное, а подчеркнуть - то, что прочитать хотелось бы в первую очередь :) Бритни курсивом выделила вроде бы прочитанное, т.е она не уверена.

Не знаю как Бритни - но это "не уверена" я очень хорошо понимаю. Я, например, не уверена, что читала Дефо - потому что давно это было, и кажется, в каком-то адаптированном варианте (обиженно - с Фолкнером они меня прокатили. я читала три толстых тома - и ни один из них не указан. безобразие!)

Ну, в конце концов, я не уверен, что читал Илиаду, ибо в памяти детской только толстый томик в мягком переплёте и ползущая день ото дня по страницам закладка, но раз она ползла - кому-то же это было нужно. Кроме меня некому было так себя терзать, родители - занятые люди.

Одиссею вот читал - точно. Младая с перстами пурпурными эос. Ни с чем не перепутаю.

Полина-из-Уфы, кстати, рассказывала, как сидела и ждала свой поезд на каком-то замызганном вокзале, в окружении всякого сброда, который только там и можно встретить, ну, типа цыгане, люпмены всяческие и т.п., и только она отвернулась - у неё спёрли из сумки не что-нибудь, не кошелёк там, не еду, - книжку, которую она читала. Да-да, "Илиаду"...
